The fluorescent brightener KCB is a yellowish-green crystalline powder, presenting a brilliant blue and bright white light. It is mainly employed for whitening synthetic fibers and plastic products, and has a remarkable effect of enhancing the brilliance of colored plastic products. While being extensively used in large quantities in EVA (ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer), it is also the leading variety of fluorescent brighteners in shoe materials. Additionally, it is widely applied in plastic films such as PE, PP, PVC, PS, ABS, extrusion molding materials, injection molding materials, and polyester fibers.
